How did we do? OL Edition
Following the release of the initial Top 102 rankings by Deuce Recruiting in January, with updates and expansions in April, we wanted to evaluate our performance by comparing it to what colleges have observed during Spring practice and Summer Camps.
Here are the top four offensive linemen (OL) that we ranked:
- Tomuhini Topui: It is rare to see a 6’3″-6’4″ OL ranked #1, but it demonstrates the exceptional talent of this player. Coming from Mater Dei, a freshman rarely accomplishes what he did. He is a game-changer. Do colleges agree? He currently holds 18 offers, including USC, Michigan, and Oklahoma.
- Keenyi Pepe: There has been an ongoing debate about who is the #1 between Pepe and Topui. Pepe undoubtedly possesses impressive physical attributes, standing at 6’6″ and weighing 285lbs as a 2026 player. Having transferred to IMG before his freshman season, his development will not be an issue. Do colleges agree? He currently holds 14 offers that we know of, including USC, Oregon, and Texas.
- Darius Gray: He is an absolute force on the field. At 6’4″ and 285lbs, he dominates the defensive line like pancakes on a plate. He can excel at any position on the offensive line and even play on the defensive side. Do colleges agree? He has received 17 offers that we are aware of, including Alabama, Georgia, and Michigan.
- Bear McWhorter: Bear and Darius are almost identical in size, both standing at 6’4″ and weighing 290lbs. What sets Bear apart is his flexibility, footwork, and finishing ability. He has showcased numerous pancake blocks and overpowering defensive linemen. However, his exceptional bend as an IOL player and relentless engagement make him stand out. Do colleges agree? He has now received 19 offers, including Alabama, Texas, and Florida State.
Next, here are three names to keep an eye on:
- Jackson Cantwell: Ranked as the #6 OL in the country, this 6’7″ giant is an absolute beast. His strength and dedication in the weight room are evident from his Twitter feed. Don’t be surprised if he ends up being the top OL in the country. Do colleges agree? He currently holds 16 offers that we are aware of, including Texas A&M, Florida State, and Oregon.
- Breck Kolojay: Ranked as the #11 OL in the country, Breck possesses excellent footwork and flexibility at 6’5″. He has the potential to add significant weight to his frame. Do colleges agree? He has received 11 offers that we are aware of, including Texas, Penn State, and Tennessee.
- Katrell Webb: Due to the matrix, he was ranked slightly lower than his actual abilities would warrant (#18 nationally). Currently, he stands at 6’3″ and weighs 240lbs. We envision him as a future 4-5 star player in OL, DL, or even TE positions. He is remarkably athletic, possibly the most athletic OL player in the country. Do colleges agree? He has now received 11 offers, gaining momentum following Spring practice. Offers include Michigan, LSU, and UCF.
